Getting close to the critters
Macro photography opens up a new world in the nature photography. This is new to me and actually there is not much of a tradition behind macro photography in Iceland. The insects and bugs are few, compared to warmer climate. There is something beautiful about these small creatures. At first I found them to be creepy and ugly – now I find them facinating. My wife still itches when looking at the photos and I believe she will leave this small world alone for a while. I won´t.
